Regional Sales Manager, North - The Role :

In this exciting New Role, based from our recently opened Depot in Nairn, our Regional Sales Manager will seek out, attract and grow new business opportunities within the Nairn and surrounding area's. We are looking for a proactive individual with the skills and drive to increase our sales revenue and build our client portfolio. Our ideal candidate can combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset, the key area's of responsibilities within this role include the following:

  • Commitment to growing your knowledge of our hire fleet and equipment
  • Analyse market and customer data to identify sales trends
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve the achievements of sales targets
  • Achieve minimum expectation on new business revenue
  • Achieve monthly KPI’S set out by the Sales Director
  • Work with sales support on lead generation platforms and secure new business from these platforms
  • Prepare SLA’s and commercial proposals
  • Monthly reporting on all KPI’s to the Sales Director
  • Resolve queries efficiently and promptly

Am I the right person for this Role?

We are looking candidates that have the following skills, knowledge and/or experience:

  • Previous experience within Business Development (Ideally within the Plant Hire Industry) while taking accountability for reaching targets
  • Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirement
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management tools
  • Good experience in identifying new business opportunities and growing those accounts to Key Account status.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated
  • First-rate negotiation skills
  • Excellent diary and territory management
  • A strong knowledge of Telehandlers and Access and the ability to identify clients that work with these products specifically e.g. Housebuilders
  • Confident and ambitious
  • Progressive thinking
  • Competent computer user, proficient in Microsoft outlook and office packages

The successful candidate must have a valid driving license with (max of 3 points)
