Jarvie Plant’s first intern, Cerys Hambley, successfully completed her ten-week internship with the company at the beginning of June.
Our new intern and graduate programme is a core element of Jarvie Plant’s people development strategy. Designed to develop individuals across many areas of our business, the programme will help them gain the knowledge and skills to become our managers of the future.
Christy Fletcher, Jarvie Plant Group’s HR Advisor, commented: “We are delighted with the success of our first internship. Cerys has been a great addition to the team.”
Our internship programme offers students the opportunity to take on and manage small projects, enabling them to learn and gain valuable skills in a fast-paced working environment.
Cerys worked within our Marketing department, helping us to expand our digital presence. She used her research skills to gather information and create a lot of great content.
Our graduate programme, due to start in September 2018, will also provide graduates with the chance of gaining valuable work-related skills. An expansion of the internship programme, it allows participants to rotate through different departments within the Jarvie Plant Group.
