With headquarters in Grangemouth and additional depots across Scotland and the North West of England, we operate through 6 divisions incorporating Plant, Handling, Access, Accommodation, Power and Commercial Vehicles. The successful Graduate Trainee will join our Head Office in Grangemouth, but will also be expected to visit and base themselves in our other depots located throughout Scotland and Northern England during the programme. Throughout this 2 year programme you will develop a broad understanding of the business by working in different departments and teams, learning how it all ‘fits’ together.
The main areas you will work in are: Sales, Hire desk, Operations, Finance and Purchasing across all divisions in the company. You will develop key management skills from reporting, staff management, recruitment, logistics, and customer service.
To be considered for this position candidates should have:
• Recently graduated or due to graduate with a degree with a 2:1 or above, ideally with a degree in business, engineering or accountancy.
• A genuine drive for leadership, passion and success
• Previous experience using excel and other Microsoft packages
• An ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues alike
• An interest in developing a career in management in the hire industry
A full EU/UK driving licence would be preferable
